Ghana seeks to make history

Ghana managed to knock out the defiant “Comeback Kings” know as the  USA team in a 2-1 clash.

Ghana ‘bad boy’ Sulley Muntari has vowed to give everything he has to make all of Africa proud of him as the Black Stars aim to make World Cup history against Uruguay.

With Michael Essien missing the tournament through injury, the Inter Milan midfielder had been expected to be one of the west African country’s leaders in South Africa. He has not been having a great World Cup campaign, having to come off the bench in recent match’s for Ghana.

Goal scorer Kevin-Prince Boateng is receiving intensive treatment after limping off the field in the second half of the USA match. The medical time hope to have him fit for the clash against Uruguay who are a very strong attacking side.

Good news, Asimoah Gyan who scored a spectacular goal in  dying minutes of the match, after controlling the ball off his chest  will be ready for the game which  kicks off on Friday the 2nd of July 2010.

Ghana aims to be the first African team to reach a World Cup Semi- final, they will definitely  have the support of the Continent behind them , we hope they will blast through the congested South American contingencies to win in the final.
